Pictures From the Mission Trip of the Queen Charlotte Islands

"...Be Your Hands and Feet"

For the nine days or so I was away on a mission trip to the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia. Our church group consisted of 13 people to run a Vacation Bible School for three days. It was truly a blessing to be part of this trip. God as always is faithful to his workers. The church where were based has only 12 registered adults. Started of with just nine kids and eventually it grew to be about sixteen or so. The number grew soley because of God. It just happened per chance that passing Adults who don't live but who work on island brought their kids and others from a neigbouring island after passing the church a couple of times... The ferry crossing takes about 30 minutes or so. I stare in amazement. Many months of planning could never anticipate the number of children attending or how they would get there. If there's one thing I learned, if we go out in faith, God will use our hands and feet to bring the lost back to him.

First of all I have to confess for not being prompt (to put it midly) in returning many of your emails. My sincerest apologies! It has been a great but busy year . Graduating in Canadian Public School, moving to UBC-O campus Sept 2nd. For those of you who don't know what UBC-O (University of British Columbia Okanagan). So I thought by keeping a blog in that way you know what's rocking my world! I won't try but make a conserted effort to respond to emails. I am aware of the fact that I still have responded to emails I had received in February-sorry!
